I get black hair magazines and try those. Also my hair ranges from a short bob to long. I try different hair styles cause I get bored easy. I have no problem cutting my hair. It'll grow back.

Right now mine's in a bob.

Try rolling it and letting the curls fall for loose waves.

Flat iron and wrap it for a more straight look.
